The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at World University of Bangladesh was established in 2003 under the faculty of Engineering and Science. At present, there are 18 faculty members and more than thousand students in the EEE Department. From the initial days of its establishment, this department has been able to attract the quality students of our country. Numbers of highly qualified and skilled graduates are proving their potentiality in home and abroad. The EEE Department is dedicated to the advancement of learning, and is committed to promote research and development in the related fields of knowledge. At the present situation EEE department is planned to organize an international conference where the new advances taking place at an unprecedented rate that could not be imaginable. In this context emerging trends in advance engineering and science are needed to be followed. This will pave the way of new sphere of research work that changes the world day by day. International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering and Advanced Science (ICETEAS) 2021 is an international conference on evolving advances and innovations in advanced science and engineering research. The conference pursues submissions and proposals from Enthusiastic Engineers and Technologists, Engineering College and University Faculty members, Research Scholars and Students presenting innovative research on all hypothetical and applied features of data. Papers describing the application of Modern-day Engineering and technology, the execution of systems, and lessons learned are also fortified. These papers are unfolding new approaches or technologies, advanced prototypes, systems, tools and techniques and general review papers representing future directions are also cheered.
The aim of ICETEAS is to engage academics, researchers and scholars from all over the world to existing and forthcoming developments in the suitable fields of engineering and science. It will also foster an environment favorable to exchanging ideas and information with multidisciplinary approach on different spheres of engineering and advanced science.
Mohd Suffian is a Lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering at Universiti Malaysia Sabah. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and his master degree from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2001 and 2007 respectively. At the time, he also involves himself with research and development activity mainly on HVAC and compressors. Currently, He teaches in the mechanical engineering program specializing in thermo-fluid engineering field of study. He is the author of several engineering journals ranging from design, air conditioning, statistical analysis, membrane, CFD, thermal and renewable energy. He holds a number of research grants in the field of thermodynamics and renewable energy, sponsored by the university and the ministry of learning; as either as head project or key members.

He is a chartered Energy Engineer who is now working as a Professor under World University of Bangladesh. He was also appointed as Research Assistant, Research Engineer, and consultant under Renewable Energy Technology in Asia (RETs in Asia) project in Bangladesh and Thailand from January 1999 to December 2004. After successfully completed the project he was appointed as Program Support Specialist in a NGO named BRAC Bangladesh and continue the job before he joined as Assistant Manager in the Rural Power Company Ltd (RPCL) in February 2006. In July 2007, he started PhD on "Natural Draft Chimney" at Universiti Malaysia Sabah. He was also appointed as lecturer in the TAS institute of Oil and Gas from July 2009 to August 2012 then moved Universiti Malaysia Sabah as Senior Lecturer and continue until he started his present position.

Azizul Haque earned his graduation (B.Sc. Hons.) and M. Sc.Thesis) from the dept. of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, the University of Rajshahi in 2008 and 2010, respectively. He was awarded Ph.D. in Applied Life Sciences (Major: Molecule Genetic) from the Gyeongsang National University, South Korea in 2014. Next, he started working as a post-doctoral researcher in the Gyeongnam National University of Science and Technology, South Korea. In 2016, he came back to Bangladesh and started working as an assistant professor at dept. of Biochemistry and Molecular biology, Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU), Dinajpur. He published thirty-two (32) original research articles in international peer-reviewed journals and four (4) articles in regional journals. He discovered a new enzyme named cellulose microfibril swelling enzyme and its colorimetric assay method. His current research focuses on genomics-bioinformatics studies on bacterial isolates dealing with bioethanol as well as pesticide degrading endophytic bacterial diversity, plant growth promotion, and genomics. He had participated in OPCW-TWAS sponsored joint workshop on Policy and diplomacy for scientists at ICTP in Trieste, Italy, in Sept. 2017 and received TWAS young scientist research grants in 2018. He has been elected as a Member of the National Young Academy of Bangladesh (NYAB) in 2020.
