WUB Faculty Member Successfully Completes ASIASIM International Summer School 2026 in China

Mr. Md. Toriqul Islam, Lecturer in Mathematics, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), World University of Bangladesh (WUB), and Convener of the Bangladesh Society for Modeling and Simulation (BSMS), successfully completed the prestigious 2nd ASIASIM International Summer School 2026 held at the Beihang Hangzhou International Campus of Beihang University, China, from 12 to 27 July 2026.

Representing both World University of Bangladesh and Bangladesh as the only participant from the country, Mr. Toriqul Islam took part in the internationally recognized academic program that brought together researchers, faculty members, and young scholars from different countries across Asia and beyond.

The intensive two-week summer school focused on cutting-edge areas including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, System Modeling, Simulation, and Optimization, providing participants with advanced knowledge through expert-led lectures, hands-on sessions, collaborative discussions, and research-oriented activities.

Beyond the academic training, the program created valuable opportunities for international networking, knowledge exchange, and future research collaboration with renowned academics and researchers from leading global institutions.
