• Professor, EEE Dept. WUB • M.Sc (Electronics): Dhaka University, 1973 (1976) • Ph.D. (Microwave Technology): Dhaka University, 1999 (2000) • 34 years research experience in the pioneer research organization, Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission (BAEC) from 1976-2010, holding the position of Member (Planning and development), Director, Physical Science Division, Director, Atomic Energy Centre Dhaka. • IAEA fellowship of Vienna, Austria for one year (1983-1985) in the Dept. of Electrical Engineering, University of Utah, USA. • IPPS fellowship of Upsala University, Sweden for two months (1995) in the Institute of Materials Science, University of Hanoi, Vietnam. • IAEA fellowship of Vienna, Austria for three months (2001) in the Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute (JAERI), Tokai Mura, Japan • IPPS fellowship of Upsala University, Sweden for one month (2002) in the Institute of Materials Science, University of Hanoi, Vietnam.
