Biography
Debprosad Das received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE) from Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET). His M.Sc. research focused on CP diversity, beam switching, direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation, array antennas, and microwave/antenna engineering.
He is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the World University of Bangladesh and pursuing his Ph.D. in ETE at CUET. His doctoral research is dedicated to advancing in-band full-duplex (IBFD) communication systems for next-generation wireless networks. In the initial stage of his Ph.D. journey, he also worked as a teaching assistant to his supervisor. He previously worked as a Research Assistant (2021–2024) in two different projects under the Development and Research Extension (DRE) program at CUET, gaining valuable research experience.
Beyond his academic roles, he has served as a trainer in Antenna Design Simulation at the Centre for Naval Research and Development (CNRD), Bangladesh Navy, and has been an instructor and invited session speaker for workshops on antenna design and research methodology organized by the IEEE Student Branch, CUET.
He has authored 45 Scopus-indexed publications, including high-impact journal articles and numerous international conference papers, contributing significantly to the fields of advanced antenna systems and wireless communications. His achievements include Best Paper Award, Best Technical Session Presenter Award, and placement on the Dean’s List of Honour during his B.Sc. studies.
