Career

Md. Abdu Rabbir Rasul is a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the World University of Bangladesh. He is currently pursuing his M.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), following his B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST). His academic journey reflects a strong commitment to sustainable energy systems, power electronics, and modern control techniques, with a focus on practical solutions for Bangladesh’s energy challenges.

Academic and Administrative Roles

Current Position:

• Lecturer, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, World University of Bangladesh.
• Responsible for teaching, course design, and mentoring undergraduate students.

Md. Abdu Rabbir Rasul has growing research contributions in the fields of renewable and sustainable energy, with two peer-reviewed publications to date:

         Concentrating solar power technology in Bangladesh: Potential and challenges for large-scale implementation.

         A Smart Charging Strategy for Electric Vehicles with a Priority for Emergency Vehicles.      

   He also has two additional papers under review.
