Biography
Md. Istianatur Rahman holds a B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from East West University and an M.Sc. in the same discipline from BRAC University, and he is currently pursuing a PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). He has acquired hands-on industry experience through his contribution to a SCADA system installation project for the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) in northwestern Bangladesh, which was carried out under BUET’s supervision. With more than a decade of teaching experience as a faculty member in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at World University of Bangladesh, he has developed expertise in both academic instruction and applied engineering practice. His professional interests encompass power systems, renewable energy integration, and advanced control strategies for smart grids.
