Short Biography:

Md Rasel Sarkar is a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the World University of Bangladesh (WUB), Dhaka, Bangladesh. He has completed a Master of Engineering Science (M. Eng. Sc.) (full research mode) from the University of Malaya, Malaysia with a dissertation entitled ‘’Application of Nature-Inspired Algorithms and Artificial Intelligence for Optimal Efficiency of Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine’’ under the faculty of engineering. Before enrollment to master degree, He obtained his Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), from Prime University, Dhaka.

He has published 9 articles in the ranked journals as a first author (5) and co-author (2). These articles are published in Energy (7.147) Energies (3.004), Symmetry (IF: 2.713), and Mathematical Problems in Engineering (IF: 1.30), and 2 conference papers in IEEE Explore. He presented a ‘’poster presentation’’ at the International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM) in 2015. In addition, there are few papers, that are under review and ready to submit. Moreover, He is also active review in various peer-review journals namely, Energy Exploration and Exploitation, International Journal of Electronics, Communications, and Measurement Engineering (IJECME),  Journal of Applied Science and Engineering, Recent Advances in Computer, Technium: Romanian Journal of Applied Sciences and Technology, Journal of Applied Science and Engineering, American Journal of Electrical Power and Energy Systems, IEEE International Conference on Automatic Control & Intelligent Systems, and International Journal of Robotics and Control Systems and IEEE SCoReD 2019, etc. His research interests include Artificial intelligence, Optimization, Intelligence Control, Renewable Energy, and Smart Grid

Also, He received academic award from International Graduate Research Scheme (Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia and University Malaya (ERGS No. ER0142013A) and High Impact Research Grant (HIR-D000006-16001)) from the first Semester onward by University of Malaya, Malaysia, which was tuition fees wavier. In addition, He was as a research assistant almost 3 years under Dr. Sabariah Binti Julai at University of Malaya. Also, He worked as a Demonstrator and Teaching Assistant at the University of Malaya and the International Islamic University of Malaysia, respectively.
