Md. Riyad Tanshen received the
Ph.D. degree in Energy and Mechanical Engineering from Gyeongsang
National University, South Korea in 2014. He received the MS degree in Thermal
and Fluid from Gyeongsang National University, South Korea. He received the
B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) from World
University of Bangladesh (WUB), Dhaka, Bangladesh, where he is currently
serving as Sr. Assistant Professor in the Department of EEE. Dr. Riyad has
published more than 40 international journal and conference papers. His
research interests include the areas of Oscillating Heat Pipe (OHP), geothermal
energy, wind energy and still working with nanofluid where nano-particle,
dispersion and application of nanofluids are being carried on. He also knows
CFD and ANSYS software. He teaches various courses: Power Plant Engineering,
Engineering Materials, Electrical Circuit, Instrumentation and Measurements,
and Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics. He supervised more than 30 groups in
their undergraduate final year projects. He has helped improving academic
quality and laboratories of the department, forming IEEE student branch WUB,
arranging industrial tours, and organizing conferences, workshops, seminars and
project exabitions. He is a member of several international and national
research organization/communities and also serving as an associate editor of
world Journal of Science and Engineering, (WJSE).
